Conversion tracking with the Facebook pixel: within our website we use the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook Inc. 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). This enables us to keep track of the behaviour of users after they have been redirected to the provider’s website (in this case Wever & Ducré) by clicking on a Facebook ad. This procedure is intended to evaluate the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and may contribute to optimising future advertising campaigns. The data collected is anonymous for Wever & Ducré, so it gives us no indication of the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so a link to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). You can allow Facebook and its partners to run ads on and outside Facebook. Moreover, a cookie can be stored on your computer for this purpose.
